Default Gotta Question......kinda long sorry!

First off Hi everyone.......
I haven't hunted with a bow since 1987 and then it was an older Bear and whatever arrows at walmart I could afford, then shoot away in the backyard till I could hit the target.
I've gotten bored hunting with the .270 this last season and just don't feel the fire so much.....
Well I bought a used bow this last week at a pawn shop...I drew it a few times and it fits rather well I think....I couldn't pass up the 30 dollar price!
Only thing is now I can't find any info on it anywhere....thought maybe you all could help?
It is a:
Golden Eagle, super hawk turbo
can't read the pounds (think it says 50-70)
25 to 30 adjustable draw
thats all the info on it.....

It has silencers.....brass pin sights.....there is a thing attached to the cable guard rod that has a red button attached to a slid mechanism(i think it was for a quiver)?

I would like to set it up but don't know anyone who bow hunts or any bow shops here......

Thanks everyone.....Josh in Juneau,Alaska

Thanks ...I think it may be an older version?
I really want to set it up but having no luck finding info?
Anyone know of an archive that may help.....I have no problem searching for days on end but I guess this is my last hope?

The conclusion I am finding is that all the emphasize is on brandnew stuff and everyone burns the last years model......

You gonna Cowboy Up or just lay there and bleed

Since you don't know anything about it or how old the string and cables are... I'd take it to a reputable archery pro shop and have them go over it for you. Check the cables, axles, string etc. and have it lubed real well. They should also beable to fit the draw length to fit you and set you up with some good arrows. Expect to pay for this service as you didn't buy it from them. The red button you describe sounds like a Kwickee Quiver attachment bracket. You buy a quiver it comes with it. If any of the strings or cables are frayed or look worn I wouldn't shoot it until they're replaced. If you shoot it and it breaks you'll get real tired of bowhunting in a hurry.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

As far as I know there aren't any bow shops here in town and I can't just head to anyother town since the only way in or out is by air or boat!
I put up a poster at our sports/hunting store (they don't carry any bow stuff) for help from anyone that knows anything round here?
The string does look old and I can imagine what would happen if it decides to let go so I won't be shooting it anytime soon.....
Thanks....
