Last Sun, I caaled a fawn in distress call and 1 min. later, I hear a crashing noise. I draw back and see a doe ' s head pop up 4 yards from me ( I sitting on the ground).She takes 1 more step and I let fly.I watch the arrow go right though the doe and see 2 deer take off!I watch the doe drop in 20 yards and watch the fawn run to my left.I wait five min. and find my arrow, and two blood trails.The fawn only went 25 yds.I felt bad, but the fawn didn' t feel a thing.When I dragged them both out of the swamp and into the field, I felt a whole lot better!Steve.

should have known what was behind that doe before you were shooting. I always assume that my bullet or arrow is going to pass through. I' m assuming that you had two doe/antlerless tags...it' s a good thing.

I don' t think that is something I would attempt on purpose but it sounds like it worked out for you anyway.
