Deer/plane collisions are all too common especially at smaller local airports. They can turn deadly especially when small planes are involved. I have assisted DNR shooters in removing deer from some smaller airports. No mattere how good the fence is, deer seem to find a way in. I' ve come close to hitting a couple over the years and it will scare the he// out of you.

That pilot better watch out - I don' t see the tag on the deer.... law says you have to tag it immediately.

On the serious side - I am sure the pilot is counting his blessings that it came out as it did.....

When I was in the air force, a sergeant committed suicide by jumping in front of the propellor of a T-29 (an old 2 engine propeller plane) as it was going down the runway. It was a dark rainy night and this sergeant had caught his wife fooling around. He worked maintenance and had a pass to be on the flight line. The pilots saw the guy about a second before he hit the propellor. There wasn' t any big chunks left. The engines were at take off power.
