Default clothing tactics

I live in Minnesota and it' s starting to get cold.At the begining of the season I would drive out to my hunting area strip down to my underwear and put on my hunting clothes. But with winter coming on I figure I haveta do something else.I don' t have any scent suppresor clothing and I' m wondering about just wearing clean street clothes under my camo bib and jacket.Or should i put on my scent free long johns and hunting pants and bag them up whenever possible.Any ideas?
I' m new at this board but really like it.I enjoy reading about other peoples experinces.I' ve read a few good stories on here and have a few of my own.I used to only rifle hunt but now my passion is bow hunting.only thing bad about bow hunting is that by the time rifle hunting comes around I' m really burned out on sitting in a stand.

I typically do what you are currently doing, just do it much much faster

I don' t like to wear anything from the house to the field. I start with a clean slate of de-scented clothing from outside my vehicle to my stand. When I get back, all my outerwear gets stored again (assuming it' s not in need of washing), but I leave the underwear on as I want to wash it before using it again.

Welcome to the board.

How about buying some (or make your own) scent eliminater spray and using it to spray down your street clothes before putting on your camoes. I believe there is a thread or two on here on making your own scent elininater. It is cheap and you can spray your street clothes thoroughly. I have a carbon suit, but I use the scent eliminater liberally to spray my street clothes before putting the suit on.

You right it is starting to get cold. Seems nice when you go out but by the time it gets dark your finger are stiff. I usually wear several layers. I put on my long underwear and scent lock stuff and then just clean sweats over that. Then when I get there I take off the sweats and put on my camo layers. I keep everyhting in big rubbermaid containers to minimize the scent contamination. And use plenty of scent killer spray on your boots and things that come in contact with the truck.

Cool out today. Looks like I another afternoon in the woods. I just hope it isn' t windy again. It isn' t bad putting up with the cold but add the wind and it can get tough.

Thanks for the replies.I do have some no scent spray that supposedly kills the human smell.I guess I' ll probably just put on my long johns, spray um down and head out. Then when I get there put on my hunting clothes.I also usually that day or the night before take a shower with no scent shampoo and underarm deodarant.
