Awesome Tuesday Night In Oklahoma!!
Got to my stand about 4:30 last night. 60 degrees, 5-10 North/North East/East/NorthWest Wind (get my point). Hunting on the edge of a 1 1/2 acre food plot. Scentblocker worked again! I had four deer within 15 yards of me for 1 1/2 and they never once smelled me. They were on all sides of my stand throughout this period, as well as, the wind would change about every five minutes
At 5:00 pm had a button buck walk in. 10 minutes later had two does and a doe fawn show up. The mature doe presented a broadside shot and all the other deer were looking the other direction. Came to full draw, released the arrow, double lung, pass-thru. She runs 30 yards and drops! The rest of the deer just stand there bewildered.
I hang my bow back up and watch the show. Ten minutes later I hear a grunt. A forked horn walks in and chases the other doe around. I slowly stand up, raise my seat, get another arrow out of my quiver, nock the arrow, put the seat back down and sit down. This fiesty little guy grunted about every thirty seconds while present and chased the doe around half the time they were there.
I watch the four deer lolly gagging around for another 45 minutes! It was awesome. They never knew I was there. I seriously thought about taking the other doe but decided not to (I wanted to hunt again and decided to wait for another awesome day).
Sorry.....my digital pics did not take.

Thanks guys......it was one of my most memorable hunts. I always enjoy watching and learning from the deer, sometimes, more than taking them!
I was hunting my property in Claremore, OK.
Good luck to you guys this season and hopefully we all get a chance at a big buck!!

WTG Dale... I am hunting 280 acres of private land in Vinita. I have only been able to go out once, but a nice size doe came by about 80 yards away. My buddy took a 80 pound doe that morning, which as you know, isn' t bad here in OK.
