Last week I shot a yearling doe. Didn' t think twice about it. I was hunting an area the farmer had requested we do what we could to thin them out. I also used my second tag, so I can still get out and go for that buck. Also, we can' t eat much more than one deer anyway, so I didn' t want two big deer, but wanted more great grilling steaks. She fit the bill, so I ran her through the combine.
