Finding shot arrow
How many of you can usually fine your arrow after shooting a deer?? I rarely can find mine. With my crossbow I always have a pass thru, but the arrow(bolt) always seems to have enough speed to bury its self. I would like to see the arrow to determine the type hit,but can' t.

I' m a ground hunter so, even though I do try to set up on higher ground than where I figure the deer will be, I lose quite a few arrows. But, my arrows are 33" long and I use bright fletching. They' re a little easier to find than some.

Use those reflective strips infront of the nock but behind the feathers. Just wrap one around the shaft. They make them for trail marking but they make arrow finding a breeze when you loose one. If you don' t find it by day go back after dark with a bright flash light and I bet you find it.

Heck your only looking for half an arrow and shooting from the ground to boot . The above idears are good and you can also add a string tracker to the arrow.

I' ve been using Lumenoks & definetly recommend ' em. But, I notice that the Archer' s Flame even have nocks for crossbow bolts.
Though I don' t know how much they' d screw-up your FOC on such a short arrow.
