Default Gold Tip broadheads

Does anyone else use these? I have always used them (for the whole 2 years ive bowhunted, im 16) and i love them.

Just wondering if anyone else uses them, I don' t see much talk about them.

They are good heads, but do require a good deal of KInetic energy to get proper penetration. They are effective though.

I' m only shooting 50# on a Jennings Rackmaster bow and haven' t had a problem with penetration. ?

As Long as you hit the ribs and chest you probably won' t. It' s when you start hitting the spine, shoulders or hips, none of which are good hits, but it happens, that you may have some problems.

I have a bunch to try, I' m just worried about the blades. I took them out in spring gobbler season and with my luck, they were all rusted shut after the season (practice heads now) I have a couple left that are not rusted yet, so we' ll see. p.s. I did coat them lightly w/ vegetable oil.
