Anybody widdle wood on stand to pass time? I started doing it while spending 12 hours on the stand to pass the slow times. Then I noticed certain pieces of type branches I would widdle on gave a great natural cover up scent. Its free, works and passes the time. Just one of my crazy things I do. I made a lizard last night on the stand. And it was apple wood.Smelled good

I don' t whittle, but I do crush bay leaves from one stand and cedar branches from another.it gives a good sent and makes the air smell good.

I haven' t widdled, but I do take a piece of rope with me and practice my knot tying if I' m in one of my stands that have screening around it. That doesn' t cover my scent but it keeps my head and body still, the parts that the deer can see, and passes time.
