does anyone like that the season' s were pushed back a week???? it' s killing me to wait this long.

Yeah it sucks.I will be able to hunt in the urban archery season this coming weekend until the regular season starts on the 18th so I guess I will survive. lol

Man Ive been ready for months! Actually since the end of last season.
Its a bummer that our season starts so late. I asked a game Warden rep. while I was up at Snowshoe at the IBO Worlds why it was so late this year for bow season and he told me the bow season starts on the Saturday thats closest to the middle of the month of October so the middle is the 15/16th and the closes Sat just happens to be the 18th. I wish ours just started the second Saturday period and squirrel started the first.

same here. espically since they are calling for a frost next week. it just isn' t right with squirrel season being so late in the month. i' m used to october meaning hunting. now i' m going to have to hold off another month.

yep, with cool weather, and the prediction for frost...i predict the pre rut will be towards the end of october, and when the first week or two of november hits...the rut will be getting into full swing. i' d say gun season will bring the dwindling of the rut. it' s been a couple years since it' s been so cool so early. i love it!
