Interesting.... I didnt think as many people tried to stop deer.....

I again dont like stopping them... Like said above I believe the deer are relaxed and by the time the sound ' registers' instead of them jumping I think they are more apt to look - by then its way to late.... I got a few videos on DVD.... I watched frame by frame (my player allows this) deer that reacted to the bow string..... the ones that had been stopped almost always start to jump the string.. it was VERY interesting. I will be using the Montec broadheads and after shooting them a lot this week I have noticed they make quite a hiss on the way in..... my bow is VERY quiet and I can hear them all the way to the target..... I love how they shoot but man they are like a tomahawk going in ! So I figure unless a deer is moving fast enough that the shot becomes questionable... Ill let them walk.

I usually maa to stop a walking animal and it has always worked for me but better be ready to shoot right then because they are alarmed.
