Mat, you have just been appointed the official camo tester for the forum. Great job but a couple of requests. Could you post a color version of each picture right with each b&W for comparison? Also how about doing the military woodlands pattern for grins and giggles since a lot of people use the surplus especially beginners?

My problem now is that you have created some major concern for me. I am trying to figure what is wrong with my eyesight other than being old and weak and requiring trifocals. For some reason, the ASAT was the easiest and fastest for me to spot and the Realtree HD being the hardest.

Wish I could see the **** pics!! Matt, I haven' t seen pics you' ve posted for the last month, no idea why.

Oh well, I know ASAT is the best camo in the woods ;).

8Pt. Oh cripes! The ONLY way I' m gonna be the " Official" tester of anything as expensive as Camo is if the manufacturers are footing the bill! I may have too much time on my hands some nights but I' m not CRAZY!!:D I don' t envy " 5-Shot" one bit!
(I would post the Color version if I could.....I think once I change them that' s it? Let me check)

And you might want to flip those Tri-Focals upside down? Your serious that you can' t see the Realtre but can pick out the ASAT the easiest?
As I go from picture to picture I scan from left to right as if I was scanning that scene. ASAT is the ONLY one that as come across I don' t see anything that would let me know that there could be someone standing there. I see THROUGH IT?
Even the Skyline.....its good but you still see the vertical lines a bit. And The Realtree sticks out like a Pumpkin in a Pea patch to me?:)

I like to see what my (in other people' s words) " extremely over priced, gimmick of a suit,......ScentBlocker 3D Leafy pants and coat, looks like up against all of that cammo. LOL

Mat, this is really starting to bug me because I am dead serious. The ASAT is the only one of the bunch that I can immediatly see the complete outline of the suit. I just went back up and scrolled up and down through all the photos steadily and it is the only one that my eyes go directly too. If there was any slight movement of it at all, I believe it would look like a flashing strobe to me.[:o] If anyone else is seeing it the same PLEASE SAY SO. I have been accused of being wierd before, but this is rediculos.:eek:

Hmmmmm. Maybe it' s just me (and my wife) but it was a close toss up between the Natgear and the ASAT that we picked out the easiest. To us it was a really close comparison between the Mossy Oak and the Skyline for the most deceptive. Maybe there is something to this shadow thing that MO has. In color MOBU looks too dark, but in B&W it looks pretty darn good to me.

Maybe I' ll take the digital camera with me this weekend and do some color & b&w comparison photos myself. God knows I have almost every camo known to man. ;)

Where can I find regular ASAT? Don' t want the 3-D style or leaf cut. I have an old pair of ASAT pants but would like a complete suit.

OK....being serious now. I think that simply making sure that your outline is broken up is more important than trying to look invisable. Look at how many guys have shot many, many deer(big deer too) wearing solid blaze orange coveralls. Just my two cents, but I think that what type of camo is down on the list of being sucessful bowhunting. I' d have to rank scent as #1 in my book. Excellent demenstration on the different types of camo though!!!! It' s cool to see. How much $$ do you have in camo again?...LOL

The ASAT sticks out for me too 8pt. I like the Skyline Excel the best. I don' t think one pic of each is a very good comparison. Move them all left or right 20' and take another set.:D
