HEHEHE, It all depends on how fast your set up is. For me, on my 3D set up I have a scale for these short range that Archers Advantage sets up for me. At 3 yds for me at 283 fps I set my sight for 54 yds.
Two years ago we had a IBO Qualifier at Adams Archery in Michigan and they had a beaver at about that range. I laughed to myself at all the people crying that this was not fair. There was alot of high and low 5s. There were not many 10x on that target. However I did hit the 10X myself.
Now if it is my hunting set up at only a blistering speed of 250 fps, I am not sure. I will have to practice this one and see or run it through the program and let you know what I come up with.

Since it is almost given away already I will answer. 40 yard pin 1" above spot for my bow
. I love to see this shot set up at our local club 3D' s. I just hate to be the first one up in the group in case the others in the group know how to shoot it.

Well lets put it this if you used your 20 yrd pin and held low then you completely miss the target
Yeah Rob I remembered the question and with all these posts about 1 pin from 0-30 yrds got me thinking that some of these guys need a lesson and I would rather give that lesson here and not out in the woods.
I have set a target at this range for 3d and 90% of the people missed it[
] but all said what the heck is this a chip shot.
The look on their face after missing a " chip shot" was priceless

55 yds... for me at least and dead on. But it looks like someone already beat me to it and they also have the Archers Advantage. That thing is awesome aint it? For my Conquest 2 at 276 fps Id use my 55 yard mark. We used to have a " bunny patch" at the local 3-D shoot, small rabbit targets at 2 or 3 yards, it was hilarious to watch people bury their arrows in the dirt right in front of the target and get mad

No pins, just instinct on this one. Anything from 10yds down, I use instinct and seems to work for me. I' ll have to pay attention to where my pins are when i shoot at close ranges.. Good quiz!
