Default For guys with the Stealth cam

You guys cost me money today

Ok I went out and got the stealth cam got some duracell batteries and kodack 200 film.
I set the camera up as per the directions done the test and the little green light flicked when it pick up motion.

I decided to test the camera in the back bedroom tonight where it is pitch black, I turned the camera on left the room and waited 10 minutes and re entered the room.
The flash did not go off but it recorded 2 pics taken.

My question is how in the heck do you get the flash to work?
Or did I get a bum cam?

Aussie,

It should have flashed. It has a built in light sensor so it will know when to flash. Maybe the 200 speed film had something to do with it? I use 400 in mine and get better pics. Where' d you buy it?

Outdoor World in Grapevine has them on sale for $69.88 plus look in your Outdoor Annual and get the coupon for 20% off and get it for around $56.00.

My buddy bought the cheaper one and I being the way I am had to buy the more expensive one. Mine takes no better pics than his. The only options that mine has is adjustable motion sensor, solar panel input, and Realtree Hardwoods camo. Kinda wished I would have save the money and bought 2 of the cheaper ones. They are awesome. The suspense from week to week is killing me. Can' t wait to check it and see what I have. Make sure you buy some good batteries. About 15-20 days is all they are good for depending on how many pics you get.

Mike.
Its in Cass county my neighbour' s father owns the land and I have been bugging him to let me go there to hunt but he had it leased out and the guys who had the lease screwed up and he kicked them off and offered it to me.
As yet I have not been there to see it he is taking us out there next week to look the place over but he did say there was 4 feeders and box blinds already on there plus 8 acres of cleared land for us to put a food plot on there is also a trailer there for us to camp in and a walk in chiller oh and 2 atv' s for us to get around onBoy did I luck out or what

O.K. Aussie...How much is it for my portion of the lease. I can envision us becoming best of friends. Heck, I already like you and we haven' t been formally introduced. Good luck with the new lease. Isn' t it exciting whenever you are checking out new turf to hunt? In about twenty minutes I' m heading out the door to pick up my hunting partner to check out our stands. Got the four wheeler on the trailer and gear in the truck. We have a farmer friend with about 400 acres in nortwest Pennsylvania that we hunt on. Unfortunately, when I was up there last month helping put a roof on one of his barns, I took a quick trip over to one of my stands to see how much activity is in the area. Stand was gone. Some jackass decided he needed it more than me. It wouldn' t surprise me if the rest of them are gone as well. I' ll find out in a couple hours I guess. We never had much trouble in the past, but word has it that some of the locals absolutely hate the fact we go up there to hunt. By their actions, you would think it is their land and not my friends. Go figure.
