Default Stealth Cam

When I put my camera out, all I get are pics of the ground. Most of the grass has been removed. What am I doing wrong?

Default RE: Stealth Cam

Selecting a spot for your stealth cam is a lot like picking a spot for a tree stand IMO. You'll need to be were the deer are but you also need to watch out for "false triggers" such as tall grass(like you'd mentioned) tree branches that hang in front of the sensor or even dark objects that collect and hold warmth from the sun. Most game cams have an infared sensor which detects heat so you need to watch for warm objects that can move infront of the cam that may trigger it. Also don't point it toward the sun. Facing north is best to avoid false triggerings by the sun.

Hopefully this will help some
