Red Oaks, White Oaks, Pin Oaks, Swamp Chestnut Oak, Water Oak, Live Oak - Right now, the water oaks are the ticket as they fall first, but as soon as the White Oaks fall, they' ll be eating them. It' s just a matter of time till I arrow me one.

We have 250 acres of all oaks, along with about 1500 surrounding acres, ours is mostly white oak because its never been logged, everyone else has had most of the white oak cut so Ive got it good most of the time. But this year we dont have any acorns except on the trees Ive fertilized. This year the food plots are gonna pay off.

here in tenn the oaks are loaded. deer like white oak better than red oak . thats what i' ve seen .acorns is what i try to hunt if i can.

White, Red, Black, Rock....but when the white oaks drop their acorns, you can be the deer will be right there for the pickings.

We have lots of red oaks here and some white oaks, with out a doubt the deer prefer the white oaks above anything else i' ve seen.

White, Red, & Pin oaks on my property. White oaks are the first to go all the time. AS someone said early when they are falling it is like the dinner bell being rung.

I' ve killed a ton of deer on pin oaks, thats about all we have on our property. But I will agree with someone else above, the deer on my property like eating dew berry vine leaves more than anything, and they are everywhere.
