the first buck i ever drew back on i clanged my arrow off the rest and watched it fall to the floor of the stand as the buck ran off. Last year i forgot my release on one hunt and a buck came in to 20 yards. I wasnt used to shooting with my fingers and i twisted the string and nocked the arrow off the rest. I had time to put it back on and shoot but due to that frustration i missed horribly.
Oh well, we all mess up and we all learn from it. I now have 2 or 3 releases, kept in strategic places to make sure it doesnt happen again. I have had horrible luck with releases, i just cant seem to keep a grip on them. good hunting.....
