First time a FAWN saw a CAT... Kinda funny... Didnt know what it was... stompin and blowing at it, then it took off running right at me till it saw me... This is the fawn that the mother died and we were feeding it in our yard... Still hangin around... Little Orphan ANNE

How do you know the mother died?

I seen a buck following a cat on a field edge one time. Every time the cat would stop, the buck would lower its head to make it move again. He was trying to make the cat leave his turf or something.

A couple of weeks ago I watched an almost grown fawn do the same thing to a dog. This happened in the middle of a field. I could see the dog bedded down in the grass. I thought at first he was a large skunk. The deer snorted and stomped for about 20 minutes until there was a grunt from up on the hill, the deer then trotted up the hill as fast as it could. It was kinda funny. I think this is also the same deer that I watched grow up. I seen this fawn alone almost every day as I took my walk. I guess if it was never taught to fear other animals. That might explain why I got close up for some great photos.

I seen deer and squirrels run around and play with eachother.
