Buck Magnet,

Very nice Buck! I am going to say he' ll GROSS around 143" and some change. Now, let' s get him on the ground and get the tape on him so I can prove to some of the skeptics that my quick-field judging theory really works!

Nice buck man! I saw his brother in a field this morning along the Indiana and Westmoreland county line. I pulled out the 50 power bino' s and the deer was huge. I pray that the new antler regs stay in place so the average guy (me) can at least have a chance at seeing more mature deer. I' m no trophy hunter by any stretch, but doesn' t it feel good now that the regulations have changed that at some point I may be blessed with a wallhanger. He could be just over the next hill!

That sure is a " beaut" Jason. I do hope you get a crack at him once the season starts....though I think it is going to be hard to pass up some of the other nice bucks that you have posted pictures of this season.

On a related note, DougMD sent me some absolutely incredible pics of a monstrous 8 pointer but they are in a Word Picture format that I cannot figure out how to change to a bitmap or jpeg...and believe me, I have tried everything I know. Any suggestions?

Lastly, I left the game camera out since Friday evening. I am going to pick it up tomorrow afternoon and hopefully will have more pics for you folks. My wife' s cousin also picked up a Stealth cam at Walmart and put it out today. I made him promise to get doubles of any buck pics that he gets developed. He is in a prime spot on private land about a mile away from where I hunt. He is smack-dab between the gamelands and a private game preserve. Talk about an opportunity....

Thanks again for the pics Buck Magnet. It' s sure nice to see that there are good deer close by. Of course, there' s that one that I' m after here in our neck of the woods. Two days ago I was out shootin' pictures at Keystone Lake. On my way back I crossed over Cemetery Road off of 210. It was very near dark but I spotted a huge deer in a field at the edge of the woods. I stopped to get a better look. This deer lifted his head and sported a huge rack. I couldn' t tell how many points but the rack was huge also. I' d have to say that' s the biggest deer I' ve ever seen in the wild. If he doesn' t chase a doe to where I live I hope he finds his way to you... WOW!
