Default ARCHERY RESEARCH - AR 37 OPINIONS ??

Hey guys....... I keep looking at the AR 37 at my nearest Pro Shop.

I have not been able to find much information on these bows but the price is interesting - a couple hundred cheaper than a lot of the other big boys.....So I am wondering in this manner - Are the Mathews, Bowtech, Hoyt, etc... worth that much more ?? I liked the bows feel and the way it pointed... I will say it has a hard wall, and NO valley - I mean its right there....... but then again the Bear Code I am shooting has a 1/2" valley - no wall, but I can shoot it quite well.....

Anyone ???

Go out and shoot the Mathews, and compare for yourself. I' ve shot both. I think the AR is every bit as good as the Mathews Legacy(the mathews I' ve shot). Pick what you feel most comfortable with.

Ive owned five different Matthews bows, and still have a Q2XL. I also just bought an AR-34, and it is just as good as my Matthews. I shot the 37 but I seemed to hit my wrist with the string a lot, both were 29 inches but the 37 has an inch less brace height than the 34 so I got it. I shoots very good and I love it.

I have the " 37" and am very pleased. My last 5 bows have been Mathews and I still own the Q2. The grip on the " 37" is the best I' ve ever experienced. It' s definitely a " Keeper" .

I shot the AR-34 at my local shop when they came out. I thought it shot very nice, for the money it is a great bow. I have not shot the AR-37 though.

Angus

What made you get the ARinstead of the Mathews ??? Just curious. I shot a Mathews today - the LX... nice... real nice... but it hit my rist ever so slightly...... I want to go shoot an AR 34 tomorrow....... curious as to how I will like it.

How long have you been shooting the AR ?

QUESTION for you AR Shooters.....

How was tuning the AR bows ?? I am a tuning freak..... and wanted to ask how well you have them tuned out.

Also - what style broadheads are you shooting - Mechanical - or Fixed ??

thanks again
