Definitely not even close to P&Y, but a very nice buck none the less. I' d have to think long and hard about taking him. If I was hunting a bigger buck that I knew was in the area, I' d pass, if not, I think I' d take him. A lot of guys are saying pass and wait until next year. Odds are you won' t see that buck again after this year. I can' t tell how many 100-120 class deer I' ve let go hoping to see again the next year, it never happens. When they reach that 3 1/2 yrs and up mark, they become a completely different animal.

That is a young buck.If it was early in the season I would rather shoot a mature doe first. But that dont mean I would put anyone down for shooting it. Just my choice. You can tell by the body and bone structure that ia a 2 !/2 year old. I do have to disagree on the rough score though.Not enough mass to get near a 125. I would say 100 to 108. night pics always make the antlers to appear bigger.submitted with respect
