I like the Fitzgerald deer products; doe in need and hoss buck both work well; also the deer dander is a good cover scent; and the vanilla killa is a good attractant. the K I S S brands are good and of course tink' s 69

I have used docs double doe and tinks #69. Browning Docs deer farm is only right down the road from me in Cortland Ohio or it could be Bazetta Twp. You should see some of the deer he has. He has huge bucks piebalds and all. And I mean HUGE. So when his bottle says dominate buck urine he means it, trust me.... lol!! But on a second note I have much better luck with the scent free approach. I hardly ever use any scents attractants covers or curioisty products.

I' ve always used tinks 69. but, I have yet to see a buck react to the doe estrus scent. I' ve had them feed on acorns 15-20 yds from where I placed my scent, and they never even acted like they were interested in it. this was in pre rut season to.
so, I' ve about decided it' s best to just set up near scrapes, rublines, etc in funnels, and forget about scents. then all you have to do is walk directly to your stand, and you want be leavin all your scent walkin around puttin out your scent attractants.
Has anybody heard or used the sling shot scent distributor? now that sounds like somethin that might work. you just get up in your stand, and use a sling shot to distribute your scents around your stand. then you don' t have to worry about the scent you leave when walkin around your stand.

I feel that no scent is the best scent of all. I think some of these scent companies try to attract more hunters than deer. The only time that I use any type of scent is when doctoring up scrapes and even then I am not sure if it helps or not but it does help my confidence.
