I' m from Newark, DE but have family in Harrison County. Inlaws, uncles and cousins meet up every November for a week of deer hunting. Lots of deer but still looking for the big one. My 10 year old son and I come in to turkey hunt in the spring. The November hunt is reserved for male adults only! There' s something about WV that' s got me hooked. Hunting aside, it must be the beauty of the state and the people!-Ken

PORK CHOP, Trust me.....there are some monsters in this state!!! Many in the bow only counties....... I have watched several here in my county that would make book big time! However, most of the big boys ( as par usual ) go nocturnal but we do have some very lucky hunters here. For me it will be next season before I am able to go out with a bow.
Rifle only for me this year...... Good Luck again this year PkChop, The county you hunt is a Great one to hunt! Enjoy.......
