Hey Guys,
Just curious if there was one book out there that you would suggest for whitetail deer hunting, strategies and tactics and info on the species itself, what would it be? I have been hunting for some time but would like to take thinks to the next level, and know I have a lot to learn about things like funnels, draws, saddles, rub lines, etc. Thanks!

I don't have any books in mind...but I would suggest watching a lot of hutning videos. Also, you'd be suprised what you can learn from the "local-type" guys whose main hobbies include hunting. I think you can learn just as much from a talented/ ethical hunter as you can from a book.

Aggressive Whitetail Hunting and Rub Line Secrets by Greg Miller are two very excellent books on whitetail hunting tactics.
For straight up biology on the species, Way Of the Whitetail by Leonard Lee Rue III is the best by far. i've read it 3 or 4 times over and it never gets old, very good book.
Watch anything by Drury Outdoors. Theyre the best for learning about hunting whitetails. for just sheer viewing pleasure, get Realtree Roadtrips. nothing funnier than that show.
