Default API Stealth Climber Tree Stand

Is this stand any good? Has anyone used it before? I posted on here about treestands earlier this year. But gave up for a while becasue i went to canada fishing. This looks like a pretty good stand. Any info would help or any suggestions.

I own the shooting star model and love it.More comfortble and secure than my summits and there hard to beat.

The only thing that I personally don' t like about API stands is the pins that hold the chain in place. Dropping one of those pins while you' re trying to get set up in the dark can be a little frustrating. I also think that the chain & pin combination on the API makes a little more noise getting things set up than a Summit for instnace. But aside from that I think API makes a very comfortable stand. I just prefer a Summit.

i have a grand slam i like the front bar that you can swing out of the way for your bow. The only thing i don ' t like about them is they weigh to much but comfort comes with a price i guess.

The chain problem I solved-Go buy some 3/4od by 5/8id clear or smoke color palstic tubing 10ft long(lowes or home depot).Remove heat shrink tubing and the black plastic insertes in the stand-spay oil chains-tie wire or rope to something solid(pole)tread on new tube and tie end to chain-grab tube and pullover chain.Re-drill holes, the inner link only. The plastic tubing is much quiter and last longer.U can also buy longer chains for bigger trees let see summit do that

I still use my summits if I have a long walk or Im changing trees that eveing. But if im hunting in the same tree all day long im in my API

If you want fast -secure-comfortable then summit is your stand. The reason every body likes them is they are made for bow hunters and they hug the tree u dont stick out like the others.I dont like the fix arm model gets in my way.
