Default Head or body?

What do you think would be the best type of shot to do on a large game animal with a bow of course, head or body? Okay this is updated since reading all the replies. No i wouldn' t aim for the head no matter how good i get at bowhunting.

A head shot has never even entered my mind. No matter what I am using, gun or bow. Especially with a bow. There is enough that can go wrong with a rifle much less with a bow.

In one of my hunting tapes," LETHAL FLIGHT" , the one guy shoots a griz right between the eyes from around 25 to 30 yards....WITH A BOW []
He was shooting a MATHEWS, but still, way too much chance of not getting a quick humane kill.
I will add that this guy,(Tim Wells,I think) was one sick shot with his bow !!!!!

I' ll take head shots on snakes, rabbits and squirrels, but never on anything bigger than that.

Sure if you hit an animal in the head it will drop on the spot but its a risky shot.
I have shot only one deer in the head with a bow and that was by accident. It definatley didnt go anywhere but I wouldnt try on purpose.

Body shots and thats it! I wouldnt even consider a head shot with a bow. its to much of a risk. A friend of mine shot a dear in the head with his bow, but only because he only had a field point. He said thats the only reason he did it.
