It's not a law in Texas, but some landowners do require you to do that. Especially those that offer a variety of exotics.

Bad idea, give them a inch, next they will want a mile.

funny but how true

How often does anyone see these bad shots. I don't think I've ever seen one. We're out there to kill animals, wounding has got to be acepted as a consequence.

Oh I get it now, what would happen to the person who did it? A fine.

I would think the problem would be the French Hunters surrendering to a deer as soon as it was in bow range.
Zing!!!! Nice one. :D

Nothing good comes from Europe,...then they will want serial numbers on your broadhead registered to you

The French can do what ever they want for all I care. I have no plans to visit or hunt in France. I have been hunting a long time and I do not need extra BS to get the job done. It seems you like a bunch of rules, regulations, certifications and certificates. I hunt to be independant and provide meat to eat. Thats the way it is here.

Hi, I don't know how you feel about this, but I actually think they had a good idea, the french.
Since last year, every bowhunter in France, resident or non resident hunter has got to put his huntinglicence registration number on every arrow he's carrying.
I think this will stop those dumb@sses who try headshots or texas heartshots.....

Just wanted to hear your thoughts, I'm glueing vanes and just passing time.....

I do not think we need anymore rules or regulations to go by.

Rhody Hunter 07-31-2010 12:12 PM

They had that in my state but revoked it later . it was a bad idea it stopped nothing
what next your name on bullets too.
It idn't stop poaching they are already breakingf the law so putting your name on won't stop them they will just leave it off

dprsdhunter 07-31-2010 01:38 PM

In the past if France would have done that with bullets they would know who to thank for saving their sorry butts :arms:
