This mentality is the same mentality requiring all of the history checks before purchasing a firearm. It keeps the honest folks honest, but for those that intend to commit a crime, they are not going to go thru the normal channels and wait for an approval from the store. They will find a way around the system. They have things like accompanied hunting, where you take any kid ( prefferably your own ) hunting from the age of 16 without a permit. This makes it easier for the young one to obtain his licence afterwards as well. F |
