Default Wind Doping??

I was wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks they use when shooting into the wind or crosswind?

How do you guage the wind so you can to see how much to adjust your shot to compensate??

I have noticed with my fixed blades cross winds can send carbon arrows flying way off at longer ranges.

Default RE: Wind Doping??

If I' m just practicing with field tips....I just let them fly. Regardless of the wind, I' m still pretty accurate from within 30 yards. In the field with broadheads, I actually don' t think about compisating for the wind. I won' t take a long shot. No wind I' ll reach out to 45 yards, but with wind, I won' t shoot past 25 yds. It all depends on the amount of the wind too. If it' s breezy...no biggy. The gusty winds and high wind speeds....won' t take long shots.
