I just got invited to go on a deer hunt in ND in the fall by a family member turned duck guide. Does anyone know what the bowhunting restrictions are and how hard/easy it is to get an out of state bow license ?
Sounds like a good opportunity for a 140" + and virtually no hunting pressure, I can' t wait !!

CBM: You might want to check into a certified bowhunting course. I took one while I was working out in N.D. and am not sure if it was required for the state, or if I took one in case I hunted some place esle out west. The course I took was about 20 or 25 years ago and my memory just isn' t what it used to be. If no one here knows, you might want to check thier DNR(?).

Whitetail is over the counter. Muley is draw and the deadline is Febuary for getting your application in. We came off a very mild winter for my area (North-eastern part of the state ) Should be some very nice racked bucks and good body weights as there wasn' t any stress from winter. So far while scouting, I' ve been seeing quite a few nice bucks and the racks are still getting bigger everyday. Goodluck hunting if you decide to go.
