If I already had a freezer full I wouldn' t even consider the doe , and the buck would have to be alot bigger than my biggest so far. Normally when my freezer is full , I' m done for the year.

Straightarrow....I understand where you are coming from. I am definitely not against shooting does....(in the last 4 years I' ve killed 18 does and only 3 " shooter" bucks). IMO every doe is a shooter. That' s why I said I' d have to look over the 10 pt before deciding. If he wasn' t a shooter, I' d be taking the doe. If I did consider him a shooter, then he' s the one I' m shooting. If you are asking given the choice between a " shooter" doe (which is any doe, IMO) and a " shooter" buck(which is a mature buck only)...I' m taking the buck. I will have many more opportunities at a doe during the season than a " shooter" buck.

Is there even a question here? I don' t understand, you say there is a freezer full of meat at home, you have a pocket full of tags and there is a doe and a 10 point. OK, survey says - 10 point. I hope you post the punch line ' cause I don' t get it.
