What are those good peepless sights?
This is my first post here. My buddy and I are picking up 2 new Mathews LX bows on Monday.
Does anybody know about those peepless sights? I read on a forum (maybe this one?) about people saying how they wouldn' t go back and how the sights promote good form. I need links...prices...all the good info from people that have them.

I am guessing you mean the " No-Peep" as it allows you to shoot without a peep sight and does promote good shooting form....though there are other devices on the market such as the hindsight that also operate under similar principles. Maybe some other folks can help you out with the addresses for both. I am sure they are probably something like.... hindsight.com or nopeep.com .

RE: What are those good peepless sights?
I use the No-Peep and will never go back. This is my first year with it and I' m still getting things tweaked. The other day I started adjusting my 30 and 40 yard pins . . . now I' m shooting bulls out that far.
I am right eye dominant but I missed the target widely a couple of times and discovered that my left eye was unconsciously trying to talke ove the aiming. But whewn that happens, I just squint down the left eye which forces the right eye to take over. Then I open both eyes . . . and it works.
I eill say this . . . the bulls on my target gets awful small at 40 yards.
The sight window is small on my FX and I don' t know whether it is any larger on the LX but work with it until you get it the way you want it. If you run into problems there is plenty of help her.

I don' t know whether the Quicktune 4000 will work on the LX or not but a fallaway is highly recomended and there are many good ones on the market. If Mathews haas one for it I think I' d start there. As for sights there are so many good ones on the market that it is hard to recommend but a tritium or high quality fober optic is the only way to go.

I used/use the no-peep but I have gone back to the peep.
My groups are just tighter with a peep. I still have the no peep on and setup as it is a great tool to check consistancy of the grip. Really helps out os a tree stand on hard angles and odd positions.
I will open my peep up this year and will probably hunt with it......again.

i use the eradicator site. its like a rifle site with a front and rear adjustment. i could never use pins or peep sites. i think you can check it out at eradicator.com or do a search.
