Exclamation Damn this warm weather!

I have a 4 day hunting trip planned for Friday through Monday. I've been obsessively checking accuweather, wunderground and weather.com and have seen that the weather is going to be sunny in the mid to upper 60's . It will make for a comfortable sit in the stand but I'm afraid it shut the deer movement down. What do you guys (and gals think) will this warm weather hose me?

I have a 5 day hunt starting friday and was wondering the same thing. Here in NC it stays warm alot during our season. The deer move because they are used to it but midwest whitetails with more fat and a thicker coat might not be so comfy. How was the deer movement last year when it got into the mid 70s the last of October and first week of November?

If it's the rut, the deer will care and they'll be most active at night, when it's cooler. The rut will go on no matter the weather, it's just that day movement will be less with warmer temps.

With this full moon, this is what I was afraid of. Hopefully I'll see something during my 4 days of hunting. If not, well rifle season starts the 14th and a nice cold front is supposed to move through on the 10th or 11th.

Mo-Ks I was afraid of the same thing. I'm hunting in SE KS by Ft Scott. I hunted over the weekend up by Topeka with my buddy. We rattled in a big 8 sunday morning that my buddy shot. That night I was in a stand and rattled in the biggest deer I've ever seen in my life. Probably 180 plus. Last night I sat on my place back home and had a doe come out about 5 and guess what she had with her! A big daddy 8 pointer. She led him right to me at 17 yards and I whacked him. After he went 35 yards and died another doe and a big buck showed up at 520. Neither buck was chasing but they definitely were following those two does and didn't want to leave them by any means. I think the rutting activity will happen late. Hunt your does and follow your does. Your bucks will be close by. I was hunting a stand that I know the does come by and they led two big bucks by me within 20 minutes. I think you can get on one in the warm weather and full moon. Just hunt your does.

I have not seen a change in deer movement. The bucks were running all over the place this morning.
