Mo-Ks I was afraid of the same thing. I'm hunting in SE KS by Ft Scott. I hunted over the weekend up by Topeka with my buddy. We rattled in a big 8 sunday morning that my buddy shot. That night I was in a stand and rattled in the biggest deer I've ever seen in my life. Probably 180 plus. Last night I sat on my place back home and had a doe come out about 5 and guess what she had with her! A big daddy 8 pointer. She led him right to me at 17 yards and I whacked him. After he went 35 yards and died another doe and a big buck showed up at 520. Neither buck was chasing but they definitely were following those two does and didn't want to leave them by any means. I think the rutting activity will happen late. Hunt your does and follow your does. Your bucks will be close by. I was hunting a stand that I know the does come by and they led two big bucks by me within 20 minutes. I think you can get on one in the warm weather and full moon. Just hunt your does.
