Fish tailing??

i was out shooting my new st axis arrows and it seems like the fly off to the left and come right back to where im aiming every once in awhile....other times its spot on...what could be causing this fish tailing?? what is that telling me about my form and how do i fix this problem? btw the st axis are great arrows...just waiting on the lumenok!

Did you check to make sure they were the correct spine for your setup. Time to take it to the bow shop and paper tune if the arrows are the right spine. are you shooting field points or b heads??? If you are shooting broadheads are the fletches smaller than on your old arrows? maybe the broadhead is causing the planing/fishtail...we need more info to help you.

Yes, “SPINE”…... (think Alum arrows we called it wall thickness) anyway, if it’s not enough to absorb the kinetic energy from the string it will BOW when shot....so, just a guess from the information provided in original question.

if the arrows are spined right, then it could possibly be a form error if you say you only see it once in a while...
but could very well be a tune issue with the bow..
id look at the spine first and make sure its on...after that tune the setup with a walkback or bareshaft or broadhead tune...then if you cant get it to tune and your spine is good, its likely form...

the spines that i have are 500...everyone on here and the chart for easton arrows said 500...50 lb pull and 28 inch arrows...i am shooting BH and i think the fletching is tinier by just a hair...im not sure what other info to give you guys
