Most of the time my bow is in my lap, I only have a hanger in one of my 5 stands and I only use it when its still dark, or if the day is SUPER slow and nothing is moving.

depends on my set up sometimes hung to my left and other times right on my stand to my left right within reach . I can't hold it all day my hands would cramp up after holding it for hours

In my hand unless I am completely bored I will hang it but I have been caught off guard a couple of times so 95% it is my hand.

I like it hung a out in front of me so that when I am standing can use the hook as long as possible. It that's not an option, then I like it off to my right. (I shoot lefthanded.)
