where do you hang your bow?????

While setup in a tree, where do you hang your bowhanger? I hang mine on the left of me high enough to clear a shot on the left.

wherever the specific tree allows me to hang it for the easiest or quickest spot to grab. Every setup is different imo.

Mine always stays on my lap ready to go.

I'm standing. I don't have a lap.

It's on the bow hook, at hand height. Side of tree depends on where I expect them to come from.

Bow is always in my hand, release is always in my other hand attached to the string.

In a bow rest attached to the stand, left side easy to get to with minimal movement...

I,m a right handed shooter, bow hung on left side on bow hanger
until the last half hr before dark, then its in hand.

Never leaves my hand

Hung on a bow hanger on the left side of the tree. I might experiment with a bow holder on my tree stand this year. I could not imagine sitting there all day holding my bow.

X2. Ive been caught with my pants down too many times when deer come in quick or super alert. Best to have it ready to rock where movement is minimal.

I will say, I did kill a doe last year and my bow was hanging. I rarely do it but felt the cover of this location was good enough to get it w/out being seen. The deer came right under me and as they walked past I grabbed it and waited for her to stop. Made the for a nice 17yd chip shot:p
