So for my graduation my parents said they'd help me get a new bow. I narrowed my choices down to the bowtech General Or the Guardian. What are the difference between these bows and which one do you guys recomend?

You won't go wrong with a guardian, quiet and almost zero hand shock.You might still find new08 leftovers yet for under $500

Why not go for the newer models out his year? I shot the Captain and Admiral and there both pretty sweet. The Admiral is a few inches shorter ata. The speed is about the same on either one.
