Default Bow shopping. Need help

So for my graduation my parents said they'd help me get a new bow. I narrowed my choices down to the bowtech General Or the Guardian. What are the difference between these bows and which one do you guys recomend?
Thanks for the help guys..

You won't go wrong with a guardian, quiet and almost zero hand shock. You might still find new08 leftovers yet for under $500

Why not go for the newer models out his year? I shot the Captain and Admiral and there both pretty sweet. The Admiral is a few inches shorter ata. The speed is about the same on either one.
