whats going to me new or the same for you

So with the coming seasons whats changed or what will you do the same.
I moved again after to seasons in Sullivan. Still in Indiana but north some. Bad thing is i am 50 miles from Indy and was told not to plan on hunting the SRA because all the city gun hunters come down for gun season. But we bought a second piece of property in the community where in the borders the federal land and lake. So i will have back access to the area. I was also told deer walk in the back yard of the property and plan to cut some shooting lanes down to the govt land. I will also start muzzle loader hunting this season. Hopefully i can bag a deer or two. I ran out of meat the other day from the deer i was given.
All in all i think it will be a good year. I might miss the first month or two getting surgery mid to late Aug maybe sept and it will take 6 weeks to get where i can start lifting weight and so on. I was told 6 to 8 weeks before i would be able to really hike into the woods. Guest it was a good think i got the disabled card for my knee. The local SRA has a area for disabled hunters only so that might get me into the woods where i will not have a big need to hike far. Plus i think i found one or two guys to hunt with.
One question i have if i do all my scouting early in June and July how can i make sure i will find a active spot that will be good come winter. Or will it come down to just what is in my area during the time. I think i know the answer but thought i would ask
Hope everything is good with everyone and good luck.

My gear will change, drastically. I'll hunt 100% of the time with trad tackle.
My goals and expectations will NOT change, though. I see no reason why I can't continue to do what I've
been doing with my new tackle choice. I don't see it as "limiting" me in any way.
Hunting new grounds.....and I'll spend a LOT of my season chasing a couple of (one is definitely a piebald) white deer in my woods.
I might be in for a rude awakening, but I doubt it.

I'll start running Trail Cams later this year, probably sometime in July.
I'll also be climbing a Tree between 30 & 40 pounds lighter this season.

I've been on a big weight loss and exercise plan for the past year. I used to have to lug around a big mans tree stand to support my 330lb frame. But I'm happy to say I'm now down to 221 and hoping to be below 200 by the time archery season rolls around. Going to reward myself with a brand spanking new tree stand for this fall. (Not sure on brand/model yet) But one thing is for sure I won't need a big mans stand again! lol
I have also started mountain biking regularly. It gets me back into the woods and I've actually started finding some new deer trails that I plan to keep an eye on. Several new ideas for stand locations.

My goals will pretty much stay the same for me this year. After a P&Y buck and harvest a couple does for the FHFH program and my freezer. I've hunted Switzerland Co. for 17 years, Im bound to make the book!

My choice of arrows will be different this year. For the last 13 years I've shot 2216 arrows with great results but this year I'm trying a whole new set up to do a little experimenting with. My new set up Is 340 FMJ's weighing In at 683 grains. I'm very excited about this new arrow set up.
Keep plugging away Tim!!
