whats going to me new or the same for you
So with the coming seasons whats changed or what will you do the same.
I moved again after to seasons in Sullivan. Still in Indiana but north some. Bad thing is i am 50 miles from Indy and was told not to plan on hunting the SRA because all the city gun hunters come down for gun season. But we bought a second piece of property in the community where in the borders the federal land and lake. So i will have back access to the area. I was also told deer walk in the back yard of the property and plan to cut some shooting lanes down to the govt land. I will also start muzzle loader hunting this season. Hopefully i can bag a deer or two. I ran out of meat the other day from the deer i was given.
All in all i think it will be a good year. I might miss the first month or two getting surgery mid to late Aug maybe sept and it will take 6 weeks to get where i can start lifting weight and so on. I was told 6 to 8 weeks before i would be able to really hike into the woods. Guest it was a good think i got the disabled card for my knee. The local SRA has a area for disabled hunters only so that might get me into the woods where i will not have a big need to hike far. Plus i think i found one or two guys to hunt with.
One question i have if i do all my scouting early in June and July how can i make sure i will find a active spot that will be good come winter. Or will it come down to just what is in my area during the time. I think i know the answer but thought i would ask
Hope everything is good with everyone and good luck.
