Set up this am by 5:45 am and was thanking God for my success at 6:10 am. I just got this new GT500 off of AT classifieds yesterday, setup a limb driver on it, sighted it in, and killed this 25 lb 10" beard 1" long spurs within hours of owning it. He came in and attacked my pretty boy and knocked him off of his stake. I drilled him at 20 yds with a Spitfire Gobbler getter from my Double Bull Matrix while he stood on pretty boy. I got a complete pass thru, but the arrow never left the bird. I shot him broadside right where his wing attaches to his body.

Nice birds fellas Nothing like a bow killed bird. Some buddys and I were talking at a bday party for a guy this weekend. I agreed with a guy that said that for every 40 birds you can kill with a gun, you kill one with a bow. I use to shotgun hunt them and it was too easy. I would snap one or 2 pics of the bird and me and call it good. Now, when I kill any critter with a bow, it is time for a full photo shoot. Helps now that I have a nice camera and a small portable tripod. Wish I had packed a camera all of my years of bowhunting. The digital camera age has really made it fun.
