There's a pair down by the river were I go walleye fishing from the shore. One evening I caught a small walleye and released it, about 10 minutes
later I see the walleye swiming on top of the water about 40 yrds away, it was a struggling swim. All of a sudden the bald eagle swooped out of a huge
white pine, grabbed that walleye out of the river with out hardly even a splash of water, flew back into the nest and the pair ate it coolest thing
I have ever seen.I have had three bucks come down to the river two 8pts and a 9pt all at the same time[ they were across the river] theres a sandstone cliff I sit next to turkeys fly across the river to rost in the white pines by runing off the cliff and mostly gliding across.Theres a kwik-trip store up the hill and behind me about 150yrds, across the street from kwik-trip theres a mobil home park and a school. They built a bridge not to far
from this spot so I haven't been there for a couple of years. I think I will fi**** this year mainly to see if the eagles are still there. This place is right in the city limits,no one can bow hunt it but a police officer and two city officials[:@]
