Well, same goal as years past. Dan, you mean to tell me you already killed two? Thats incredible. We open on Sat.
1.) Don't get hurt in the woods. That includes falling out of treestands.
2.) Make it fun and not work.
3.) Kill at least 2 eatin deer.
4.) it would be nice to drop a nice 130" deer.

P&Y Pronghorn in Wyo but mostly enjoy the trip with a great core group of guys we have going.
I look to take my best buck each year, at least a 3.5 year old.
Have fun. It's that simple.
What ever else life hands me this year is a bonus. I'd hate to look past spring gobbler and with the Harley coming, riding season but archery season can't come soon enough.

I would like to take a nice buck in michigan this year. I took a public land six point last year but i feel like i can do better this year.
I Ohio on my home farm i am still searching for my second P&Y, my goal there is not to be so darn picky and not pass on bucks that will just make the book, with the limited time i have to hunt there i really don't have that luxury any more.
Turkeys are more than likely out of the question for this spring because if all goes the way it has been, my baseball team will be headed to regionals again this year.
I wish everyone a safe and productive season.
P.S. LOTS MORE WATERFOWLING!!!

- Have fun and be safe
- Take a nice tom with the bow in PA
- 130" buck with the bow in PA

Man,I just want to get out there and hunt and hope to have plenty of deer sightings with the opportunity to take a deer if I choice to,now it would be nice if said deer just happened to be a big narly horned mature buck, but if not thats ok too.It seems the longer I hunt the more I just enjoy my time in the woods, whether I decide to shoot or be content with just watching the deer and other wildlife.

Good goals everyone, good luck with them!! Congratulation's once again Dan on a great start to your 2009 bowhunting season.
As for myself, I just hope I get drawn for a bear license In Mn so I can hopefully get a rip at a P&Y Bear. Another goal of mine Is taking a P&Y Whitetail In the early season. The early season buck hunting depends on If I get drawn for a bear license. If I get drawn, the early season buck hunting will suffer allot. Whether I'm successful or not this fall I just want to enjoy myself out In the woods more then I have the past 4 to 5 years.

Its simple for ME. Id like to do the exact same thing as i did last year. Let them come, and make good moves. A bigger buck than last yearwould always be nice, but that isnt a goal for me. For the limited amount of time that i get in the woods (college/work) I dont feel that I should be asking for a huge buck. You gotta put in the time, and hope for the best. IF I get a chance at a monster- so be it, but if no, I wont be disappointed. Just gotta have fun.
