Age??? I agree he is an awesome buck and far exceeds my standards on a shooter buck as far as antlers are concerned. But I too am wondering about the age estimate on this deer. I am trying better my field aging abilities and would like to know what some of you all think about his age? I figured he is fairly young given the length of his legs in proportion to his body and the size of his neck, 3.5 years, maybe even 2.5? Anyone else have an estimate?

Doc

I agree Doc, I believe he's likely only a 3.5yr old animal as well, which means he really oughta be something to look at next year if he makes it that far!!!!

Don't really understand the question marks behind "shooter". That is what we call a no doubter.
I was doing that as a joke as you can clearly see that he is a monsterI am the only person that bowhunts there except one other guy but he has already filled all his tags. I am gonna try to get down there this weekend and get some goose and deer hunting in before the bucks start to shed.I will let you guys know if I am lucky enough to put my tag on him.
