HOYTS limb warranty?
#1
Last night as I was waiting for my league to start I was just looking over the bow and noticed a splinter peeling off the bottom limb of my 5 year old Hoyt Razortec. I have no idea how long it has been like this, but I had not noticed it before although I do not look over my limbs often. From the pictures, is it a big deal? would you shoot it again?AND most importantly, is this something Hoyt will cover under their lifetime limb warranty? No arguing with the sticker I never peeled off the bow
Thoughts?

Your covered, even if it isn't needed to replace....do it anyway. I have heard of people snipping splinters like that off and sanding it smooth.....but I personally wouldn't want to gamble with my face that way.
Get er fixed up, for no cost to you.

That splinter goes a little further into the limb than most have experienced with that year bow. There were a few issues like that back then, surprised it took this long to show up.Most were able to just sand it off and keep going but with as deep as your's is,I would get it replaced. That is what the warranty is for.

), that splinter gets bigger/deeper as it goes up on that limb. Get it replaced. No reason to take chances!
