This is how this thread started:

ORIGINAL: LRarcher

I'm new here to the forum and like what I see.
I wonder if he still feels that way?[8D]

Thats a darn good question Todd.

I could pound the crap out of a NFAA 80 yard face with a 35# recurve in 1970, as a matter of fact, I shot it better than some of the other targets.

A few years ago I was at a 3Dhoop te doand one of the novelty shoots was a 130 yard standing bear, It took 4 shots for me to get a kill!

As far as the cheep sight goes, the guy stands alot better chance of getting a 100 yard pin set with a 20 dollar walley world site on his bow with his pin close to the riser, than he does with a 200 dollar spot hog slider extended, Not forgetting the farther the peep is away from the nock point the bigger the gap will be between the arrow shaft and the pin.

He did not say he shot at animals at 100 yards, He did not even say he was good at hitting a pop can at 100 yards!
He did however say he enjoyed shooting at 100 yards.

As far as his smart remarks go all I can say is, even a good dog will bite at ya, if you keep picking at him!

Maybe you can give some pointers then?? I mean I REALLY want to play football and since you seem to have all the answers I figure you're my best chance at getting to the NFL......Little help here?

So if I get in my truck, drive to the farm, and get in a treestand Im not hunting? Im only "hunting" if I am doing it while living out of a tent?

I understand that people were not believing you right away. Sometimes that stuff happens, but it usually works itself out instead of turning into this. As for you thinking you are superior because you are a "real hunter", unlike the rest of us..You're a sad person.

your missing what makes up the hunt, becoming a part of the food chain, not rolling out of a heated blanket getting in the truck, climbing a tree, then shooting an animal.

we all kill animals it is how we are able to get to that final stage that determines the hunt.

perhaps I should just rid my bow to go off when the line is tripped ??? mine as well.

I feel the same as you LRarcher... I love to shoot, and to shoot well enough to satisfy your goals is the best. I tried to be constructive in teh beginning, but you brought this on yourself. You offended many good people/members here for hardlyno reason.

So... my lastbit will be, go to www.archerytalk.com if you want to get responses from a bunch of shooters. The emphasis inshooting is higher on AT imo, and maybe it would suit you more.

well of course, do what everybody else dose.

steps to becoming in the NFL

#1 get into drugs

#2 go to jail

#3 utilize the free food and weights to get fat and some what strong

#4 loose 75% of brain function

#5 get to know the coach

#6 sit on the bench and get payed your 12 million

#7 pull a publicity stunt

#8 blame your publicity stunt on roid rage

#9 go to rehab

#10 use the rehab to your advantage, tell every one your clean and get switched to another team

#11 quite, cut the losses on your contract and get some on to manage your money and toss you a couple of can soup commercials.

#12 and of course you MUST get your self on a box O Wheaties

wait a sec you already did ----- http://www.customawardsplus.com/wheaties/images/wheaties/wheaties_box-350x456.jpg

HOLLY SH!T you made it on 2 boxes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how did you do that ???

your second cover looks more like you http://www.vm.ibm.com/devpages/christin/photo/wheaties.jpg

good luck
Cool!

I figured that coming from a big strong guy like you that you would know a thing or twoabout your list you so generously provided to me/us. Ok, so the first thing I need to do is "bulk up" huh? and you say steroids is a good place to start...got it! I'm not too versed on them but I guess you seem to know about them as I remember reading that you are a big dude. I wish I was 240lbs! I was thinking about quarterback...they seem to get all the babes and you really don't need to get so big (certainly not 240lbs) and I can throw the "ole pig skin" at least 30-40 yards. Hey I'm no Bret Farve but I think I got a chance.

I like the 12 million aspect....making money would be sweet!

And don't tease me with those Wheaties pics.....man what a dream come true that would be.......I'm inspired!

What are you smoking! Listen buddy..Hunting for me is not waking up in a "heated blanket"and getting in a treestand. In fact, 90% of the time I sleep in an old trailer on the property (with no heat, lots of blankets)for a couple days, and when thats not possible because of work, I get to the property whenever there is a spare few hours. It is a year round deal that I wouldnt trade for anything. Shed hunting, Spring planting, summerscouting, hanging stands, etc.. Its about loving to be in the woods, and it is my passion. You do not know me, and you will not tell me your definition of hunting is the only one that is worthy. You are pompous.I do not care about your crazy agenda, whatever it is. Im done, something is wrong with you man
