I'm new here to the forum and like what I see.
I wonder if he still feels that way?[8D]
Thats a darn good question Todd.
I could pound the crap out of a NFAA 80 yard face with a 35# recurve in 1970, as a matter of fact, I shot it better than some of the other targets.
A few years ago I was at a 3Dhoop te doand one of the novelty shoots was a 130 yard standing bear, It took 4 shots for me to get a kill!
As far as the cheep sight goes, the guy stands alot better chance of getting a 100 yard pin set with a 20 dollar walley world site on his bow with his pin close to the riser, than he does with a 200 dollar spot hog slider extended, Not forgetting the farther the peep is away from the nock point the bigger the gap will be between the arrow shaft and the pin.
He did not say he shot at animals at 100 yards, He did not even say he was good at hitting a pop can at 100 yards!
He did however say he enjoyed shooting at 100 yards.
As far as his smart remarks go all I can say is, even a good dog will bite at ya, if you keep picking at him!
