Great story.It wrenches me to hear stories like that. Awesome action on your part.Here in Md you can't shoot at or harass game animals in the water.I've had a chance or two to shoot a nice buck swimming across the Pataxant River. If we followed it in the boat to get to the shoreline we would be harassing and if we shot it while exiting on the river bank we would be shooting at it in the water. Just another not too well known law unless you read the book, here in Md anyway.
