LAHUNTER, I just ordered a Alpha 1 today. I can give you a complete run down on it more in a few days. Here' s what I know now, the riser is longer than the SBD, limbs angled back more. They are supposed to be quiet. My Tominator is! Also faster than the SBD. Renegade has a lifetime warrenty on limbs, riser and cams. Does not cover string, cable and grip. Check them out at www.renegadebows.com. I' ll fill you in more after I shoot the bow this weekend.

Thanks Jacko. I can' t wait to read your review on the Alpha 1. If you don' t mind, how much did you pay for the bow?

LAHUNTER, You may want to take a look at the cheaper bows at Wal-Mart or even the youth bows. Youth bows are good for week shooters suchas yourself. Beginners such as yourself need to work up to " high caliber" bows. And remember a new bow will not make you a better shot or a better hunter. You may never be as skilled as others. But keep trying! Don' t get discouraged! You can only do so much with the abilitys you were born with.

I think that is the bow " Uncle Ted" uses on his Spirit of the Wild show. Not sure if that would make me buy one or keep me from buying it.
